As an IT & Cybersecurity executive, Matt Taylor brings 15 years of leadership and technical experience in technology and security industries.

Taylor has been a part of various teams and architected a wide variety of solutions for small organizations up to large enterprises in within verticals, such as Healthcare, Legal, CPA, Media.

Since 2017, Taylor has also been involved with remediation efforts and rearchitecting organizations IT & Security efforts after being involved with upwards of 100 cyber incidents from Ransomware and Data Breaches etc. These efforts prevented businesses from spending upwards of $5 Million to Cyber Criminals.

In early 2018, Taylor founded Darkside Enterprises with the goal of providing IT & Cybersecurity Solutions and provide Fully Managed or Co-Managed Solutions, Unified Communications, vCIO, vCISO, Compliance Services to organizations around the world allowing enterprise grade solutions to businesses of any size.

Taylor provides a comprehensive managed solution which includes but not limited to: Monthly IT & Security Assessments (Including Regulated Compliance for HIPAA, PCI, SOC, CMMC, GLBA and implements and follows the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)), Managed IT, Managed Cybersecurity, Compliance, Cyber Insurance, and more.

During the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic, Taylor published a best selling book on Amazon – Adapt and Overcome: What Business Owners Need to Do to Keep Employees, Clients and Infrastructure Safe During a Time of Crisis. Adapt and Overcome is aimed at helping business owners understand the importance of their IT security and infrastructure needs during a time of crisis and understand best-practices that should be followed.

In 2020, Taylor and Darkside Enterprises achieved three major accomplishments in the IT MSP Industry:

-MSP Overwatch Certification demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to cybersecurity best practices.

-MSPAlliance MSP Verify Certification is for Managed Services Providers, designed to provide assurance, generate trust, and communicate transparency to consumers of managed IT services.

-MSPAlliance Cyber Verify “AA” rating. This rating gives customers of cloud & managed services the assurance their provider is using the most current cyber security practices.

Taylor holds various IT & Security certifications from Microsoft, ISACA, (ISC)2, & CompTIA.
